Veronique is a racist jewelry store owner in Bozeman and a former school classmate to Bethany Dutton. She attempted to frame Monica Dutton for shoplifting from her store and was shamed in the end by Beth. Played by Allison Dunbar, Veronique is shown to be vain and having a fragile self-esteem, which is picked apart by Beth in the episode, Enemies by Monday.
After Monica calls Beth for help, Veronique hides a ring under her foot, proving that she called the police in order to humiliate and degrade her rather than out of any suspicions of theft. As Monica is being stripped to her thong and topless, Beth comes and scares the police off, much to Veronique's concern. Realizing who Beth is already and making the connection with Monica, she resigns to things not going her way and she waives her staff away to the back room and accepts she will have to face Beth and her consequences. Because she had Monica strip searched over her lie to the police, Beth makes her strip down to her bra and panties, revealing her spanx under her skirt. Beth taunts her for having breast implants and a flat bottom and shames Veronique further by pulling her spanx away and looking down at her privates, as Veronique isn't wearing anything underneath.
Veronique is standing helpless while Beth examines her, revealing that she is not waxed and in fact has a dark pubic hair, mocking her for being a bottle blonde. Monica stops Beth there, and asks Veronica to admit that she judged her skin color, which she does. Before they leave, Beth tells Veronique to be glad that Monica has a conscience, as Beth was going to make her take the rest of her clothes off and sleep with the mannequin.
Veronique is left ashamed, due to her vanity and fragile self-esteem, as she was shown to be covering her imperfections the whole time. Beth, in one swoop, humiliated her at her own store.
