Biography[]
He is first seen confronting Zane Davis about bringing sheep to the reservation. He learns that they are a gift from the Duttons and he and his men are seen gathering them up.
He discovers the deceased mother-in-law, Issaxche Rainwater at her homestead and notices that the tracks from the horses are shoed and from the government. He is met by Pete Plenty Clouds who comes with news that his daughter Teonna has left the boarding school she was at and is in bad trouble. He races back to his home and grabs all his weapons and supplies he can carry and leaves for North Dakota to protect his daughter. When he comes back to meet Pete, he comes across the boy's horse stumbling around alone and finds tracks from horses around his camp. He finds Brother Romero attempting to strangle Pete to death and scalps him from behind before slitting his throat. He then feasts on the body of the priest.
He and Pete catches up with Teonna and together they ride off into Wyoming after he had written the words "child killer" on the dead bodies of Cillian and Romero. Later at night when Pete and Teonna show interest for each other, he scolds them saying there's no time for falling in love and that if the priests find them, they will be killed.
He, his daughter and Pete are camped in the wildness of Texas having run away from the lawmen pursuing them. When Teonna says that she wants to be with Pete, he accepts her decision and says that they will have a small ceremony for them soon.
Pete is later killed by Marshal Kent while Father Renaud tracks down Teonna and her father's camp, shooting her father dead before he can fire a shot. However, Teonna is able to overpower the priest, stab him several times, and grab her father's gun to finish him off.
