Lynelle Perry is a Yellowstone character played by Wendy Moniz. She is a Montana Governor turned Senator.

Earlier Life[]
Senator Lynelle Perry is the former Congresswoman and later Governor of Montana since the start of the show and an ally and love interest to John Dutton. Lynelle Perry was married and had a son with her husband, but her husband died before their son would be in his teens.
Throughout the Series[]
She always had a good relationship with John Dutton, whom she eventually came to known somewhat better in a romantic way as well. But even though they have a soft spot for each other their relationship never really got off the ground romantically. Perry felt such a strong affiliation with the state of Montana that she found a true calling as Governor. After serving as Governor, Perry felt she would be able to do even more for Montana if she could represent the state in the U.S. Senate. She went on the become a United States Senator and publicly endorsed John Dutton when he announced his candidacy for the Governor spot she left vacant by leaving for Washington D.C.
