Issaxche Rainwater is the grandmother of Teonna Rainwater and the mother-in-law of Runs His Horse.
Character Biography[]
Nature's Empty Throne[]
She is first seen in a government office, trying to plead with the judge to transfer Teonna to a school closer to her home. Because Issaxche is not immediate family nor a legal guardian, as Teonna's father Runs His Horse is away working, her transfer application is denied.
One Ocean Closer to Destiny[]
She is approached by Marshal Kent at her home with an arrest warrant for Teonna. Issaxche is confused, as Teonna is not at her house nor is she aware of the murders she has committed. As the Marshal Kent searches her home, she angrily demands he leaves, to which he shoves her, killing her when she hits her head on the stove.
The Rule of Five Hundred[]
When Runs His Horse returns from work, he discovers her body on the floor. Pete Plenty Clouds approaches and informs him of Teonna's whereabouts with his father Hank Plenty Clouds, and they both ride off to find them.
