Dirk Hurdstram is the grandfather of Jimmy Hurdstram.
Biography[]
He was Jimmy's only living relative who wasn't in prison. He reached out to John Dutton to recruit Jimmy as a hired hand as a favor to keep him out of trouble. In Season 2, he was jumped and beaten by Ray and Blake, two drug dealers who Jimmy owed money to, as a message to him. Sometime after the assault, he suffered a stroke due to a blood clot from the assault and passed away.
