Brother Liam is a Catholic priest at the North Dakota Boarding School for Native Americans. After Teonna Rainwater escaped from the school, he, Cillian, and Romero were ordered by Father Renaud to ride out and recapture her. They came across Pete Plenty Clouds in which he tied him up to deliver him to their school while Cillian and Romero continued the pursuit. When Liam mocked his beliefs, Liam attempted to strangled Pete, up to the point where he was scalped by Runs His Horse, had his throat slit, then was feasted on.
